Privacy Policy

Data controller

Piel de Vino, operated by Aaron Mejía, with address in Coyoacán, C.P. 04380, Mexico City, is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

Purpose of processing

The personal data we collect is used exclusively to: (i) manage your registration on the waitlist and notify you when production slots open; (ii) respond to inquiries and custom commissions; (iii) coordinate delivery of your order.

Data collected

We collect only your name and email address through the waitlist form. When you contact us by email or Instagram, we may also retain information you share in that communication (such as design preferences, delivery address, or notes about your commission); this data is processed on the basis of the contractual relationship you establish with us when requesting a commission, and is retained only for as long as necessary to complete it. We do not collect sensitive personal data.

Data transfers

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties, except as required by law or competent authority. We do not share your information with advertisers or marketing platforms. To operate the website and manage the waitlist, we use technology service providers that act as data processors on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations. These providers only process your data according to our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object to the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights). To exercise them, send a free request to hola@pieldevino.mx stating: (i) your full name, (ii) the right you wish to exercise, and (iii) a clear description of the data on which you are requesting action. We may ask you to provide a document confirming your identity before proceeding. We will respond within 20 business days of receiving your request. Exercising these rights is free of charge, except in the case of unfounded or repetitive requests. If you believe your request was not handled satisfactorily, you may contact the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI) at www.inai.org.mx.

Data retention

Data collected through the waitlist is retained until the registration is used or until you request its cancellation. Data related to completed commissions is retained for a period of 5 years for accounting and legal purposes, after which it will be deleted.

Any changes to this privacy policy will be published on this page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
